REOPENING GUIDELINES

We are so excited to announce that we will be reopening Common Ground Fitness Center the week of July 6, 2020.

All current members MUST register with a new membership agreement and provide up to date address, email and billing information.

With our reopening, comes a list of required guidelines that we must follow per Massachusetts state regulations and recommendations. These guidelines have been put in place for the safety of you, your fellow members and the Common Ground personal trainers, fitness instructors and staff. We appreciate your understanding and patience as we navigate through these changes.

***Please note that these guidelines are subject to change at any time based on state regulations and what we feel best serves our members and our facility.

  • If you are ill, or are displaying any symptoms of Covid-19, you are required to stay home and not enter the facility or attend any of our classes until you are recovered.

  • Open gym and indoor fitness classes will be limited to six (6) members per session.

  • Outdoor fitness classes will be limited to ten (10) members per session.

  • A separate Outdoor Fitness Class waiver must be signed prior to your first outdoor class.

  • Reservations are required for all open gym, indoor and outdoor fitness sessions. Reservations can be made up to 5 days in advance.

  • Open gym time slots will be 90 minutes long. Please do not enter the building until the exact start of your time slot.

  • Open gym will limited to 2 members in the WEIGHT ROOM ONLY when indoor fitness classes are being held.

  • For indoor fitness classes, please do not arrive more than 10 minutes prior to the start of the class.

  • Upon each visit to the gym, you will have to wear a face mask upon entering and as you walk throughout the facility.
  • You will enter through the main door (red door) using your Openpath app or key card and enter the lobby. You will continue walking straight through the second door using your Openpath app or key card to enter through the second door. PLEASE BE SURE TO SHUT THIS DOOR BEHIND YOU. At this time, please wash your hands in the restroom.
  • As of December 13, 2020, all members and registered guests must wear a mask at all times when in the facility including during your workout time and when you are participating in classes.
  • Disinfecting is required for all usage of equipment. Disinfectant wipes are provided throughout the facility. No equipment should be used by another member or returned to the storage rack/container/area without being sanitized.

  • We encourage you to wash your hands frequently and/or use the hand sanitizer dispensers that are provided.

  • If doing circuit type training, please limit the number of circuits that you are performing and disinfect the equipment immediately after use. THERE IS TO BE NO SHARING OF EQUIPMENT WITHOUT DISINFECTING IN BETWEEN.

  • We strongly encourage you to bring your own mat for stretching and other floor exercises. If you do use one of our mats, please wipe the mat that you used thoroughly with the disinfectant wipes provided before returning it to its storage area.

  • Personal trainers, fitness instructors and staff will be required to wear face coverings.

  • Personal trainers and fitness instructors will wash their hands before and after each training session or fitness class and will sanitize frequently during each session or fitness class.

  • When you are finished with your workout (90 minutes maximum), please leave the facility. There is to be no congregating at any time.

  • You will exit the building by using the door (white door) that is in the main fitness area where classes are held.

  • PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT BOTH DOORS ARE SECURELY LOCKED BEFORE YOU LEAVE THE PREMISES.

  • IF THERE IS NOBODY LEFT IN THE FACILITY WHEN YOU GO TO LEAVE, PLEASE TURN OFF ALL OF THE LIGHTS AND THE TVS.

  • Common Ground Fitness Center is monitored by a security camera system and is checked on a daily basis.
